AICAR (acadesine): why no calculator preset

Updated 15 Oct 2026

The site's reconstitution calculator turns the milligrams in a powder vial and the millilitres of added water into a concentration and syringe units. For some substances it has a preset that fills in the vial size.

The calculator has no preset for this substance. In studies it was given in hospital as an infusion into a vein per kilogram of body weight and per unit of time, which the vial calculator does not describe.

The calculator is here to help you read research. It only converts units: your own numbers, or doses reported in the cited studies.

Not a recommendation, not treatment guidance. The calculator only converts units. It does not tell you how much of any substance is advisable or safe to use.
